Perhaps you have the palate of a queen but the cooking skills of a pauper with aspirations that will shame even Escoffier. Well, it might be a good idea to take some private cooking lessons. Pasch can teach you how to make a salmon sing like a Scandinavian spring. Or how to bring out the best in beef for that ever-elusive perfect braai. Speak to him about the cuisine you want to learn and the level of cooking you want to achieve. With a bit of imagination and some patience, you are halfway there, and Pasch has both.
We offer the following cooking and lunch demonstrations at my home kitchen located next to the beautiful Vaaldam. Only 1h30 min drive from JHB
Private cooking class and Lunch with Pasch du Plooy (5 hour event).
Interactive cooking session with lunch, gin and wine.
2 hours interactive cooking and information session in the kitchen, hosted by Pasch du Plooy followed by a Lunch at the long table with award-winning wines and gin.

All bookings must be made 48 hours in advance. Group size, minimum of 8 guests, a maximum of 10 guests
We provide set menus on all packages but will consider dietary requirements on prior notice. Payment in advance will confirm your booking.

Bookings only for groups of 8 with a minimum of 4 hunters and 4 non-hunters. Gourmet fire cooking demo, lunch and De Vry Distillery drinks only available in combinations with morning hunts. All meat can be kept by the hunter, meat can also be bought back at market price or processed in droëwors at an additional cost.
Payment in advance confirms your booking. Only rifles with silencers allowed. Rifles can be supplied on request prior. No alcohol allowed prior to or during hunting.
